Position Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for protecting life and property in accordance with UAE regulatory requirements, including directives issued by SIRA.
The role ensures strict compliance with site-specific assignment instructions, company policies, UAE laws, and client security standards while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and vigilance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and random patrols as per Assignment Instructions and post orders.
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm panels in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Control access to premises by verifying identification, permits, and visitor credentials.
- Prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and safety breaches.
- Respond immediately and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, medical situations, and security breaches.
- Prepare clear, factual, and timely incident reports in English as required by company and regulatory standards.
- Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and company policies without bias or discrimination.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and coordinate with Civil Defence, Police, or other authorities when required.
- Maintain discipline, proper grooming standards, and full uniform compliance as per SIRA/PSBD regulations.
- Safeguard confidential information and ensure professional conduct at all times.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in security services (UAE experience preferred).
- Good command of written and spoken English (additional languages advantageous).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic reporting systems.
- Physically fit and medically cleared to perform security duties.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
