About Miraval The Red Sea
Miraval The Red Sea features 180 guest rooms, suites, and villas across three million square feet of beaches on Shura Island.
The resort is part of Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Project and will offer Miraval's mindfulness-based wellness practices and the largest spa in the region.
The resort is set to open as part of phase one of the development.
Job Overview
The Security Manager reports to the Resort Manager and develops, implements, and monitors the hotel's safety and security procedures.
The role ensures the safety of guests, staff, and assets, including fire safety protocols and employee protection, while upholding Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the safety and security procedures of the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and maintain employee and asset protection.
- Oversee all security operations and ensure a safe environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
- Establish and implement emergency protocols, training staff and security personnel in emergency response.
- Maintain high levels of security to prevent theft, loss, and damage across the resort.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure safety measures are consistent with Hyatt International's standards.
- Regularly conduct security audits to evaluate and improve current safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience as a Security Manager or Assistant Security Manager in a larger hotel or resort operation.
- Strong practical, operational, and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations, security systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive security issues.
