Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise platforms and EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint).
• Monitor security alerts and events through SOC tools and processes; perform triage and escalation as needed.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely remediation and documentation.
• Configure and optimize EDR policies for proactive threat detection and prevention.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts for threat hunting, forensic analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Maintain system integrity through regular updates, patches, and backups.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform administration with exposure to SOC operations.
• Hands-on experience with EDR tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, etc.).
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel).
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Security certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security, or SOC Analyst certifications).
• Experience in threat hunting, incident response, and forensic investigations.
• Knowledge of ITIL and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
