Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience is required .
• Valid Alberta Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR/AED Certification .
• Experience in mall security, retail security, concierge security, access control, CCTV monitoring, or loss prevention is considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional, reliable, dependable, and presentable, with a high level of integrity.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during 8–12-hour shifts .
• Ability to walk approximately 8,000 to 10,000 steps per shift .
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced public environment.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
