Security Guard

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The Security Guard will understand and comply with security management, policies, procedures, programs and the requirements and limitations as indicated in PCI Card Production Requirements. Duties & Essential Job Functions Perform proper and thorough security inspections Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures Understand and use Computerized Management (CCTV) surveillance system to ensure efficient and proper documentation Ensure all paperwork is accurate, completed on time, and neat. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures Take immediate action to correct safety and security issues Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry Ensure operation of security equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follows manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoots malfunctions; calls for repairs Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls Obtains help by sounding alarms. Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements Build and maintain effective relationships and communication with internal and external customers, local government, police and fire agencies, and other emergency responders Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned Other Functions and Responsibilities This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
