Role details

Security duties

• Patrol premises, monitor suspicious activity and security risks, and protect company property, personnel, and assets.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, staff, and visitors, checking authorization and sign-in or sign-out.
• Respond to accidents, fire alarms, intrusions, and other emergencies and report incidents to supervisors and relevant authorities.
• Maintain incident records, reports, and daily logs; report incidents promptly to management.

Equipment and safety duties

• Operate CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor activity.
• Check vehicles entering and leaving and enforce security procedures.
• Enforce company safety and security policies and relevant regulations.
• Escort employees, contractors, or visitors to restricted areas when needed.
• Support fire drills and evacuation procedures and help ensure fire safety protocols are followed.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience; UAE experience is preferred, particularly in a petrochemical, industrial, or corporate environment.

Skills and qualifications

• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, safety measures, and fire safety procedures.
• Good spoken and written communication in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to operate CCTV and alarm systems and respond calmly to dangerous situations.
• A UAE-regulation Security Guard License is preferred; first aid and fire safety certifications are a plus.

Work schedule

• Shift work includes nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Working conditions

• Work is in person in an industrial environment with potential hazards associated with petrochemical operations.
• The role requires physical endurance and working in varying weather conditions.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and patrolling for long periods and responding to emergencies.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500–2,000 per month.
