Job Summary
The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment by protecting company property, personnel, and visitors.
The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents or emergencies according to company security protocols.
Department: Administration / Facility Management. Location: Industrial Area 1, Ajman, UAE. Reports to Security Supervisor / Administration Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas regularly to ensure safety and security of premises and assets.
- Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Observe CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, following safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitors.
- Assist in enforcing company rules and regulations on-site.
- Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits are in operational condition.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Perform crowd control duties during events or peak hours.
- Support facility management with safety inspections and incident reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, military, or police service preferred.
- Valid SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) license for UAE roles.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively during emergencies.
- Physically fit and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and fire safety is a plus.
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work depending on location/site.
- Requires long periods of standing or patrolling.
- May involve night and weekend duty.
Salary Range
- AED 1,500 – 2,500 per month plus accommodation, transportation, and other benefits as per UAE labor law.
