Overview
We are currently hiring a
Security Engineer
for a client in the UAE for a minimum of 1 year project (renewable).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing new security projects, maintaining security tools, and supporting the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, firewall, and vulnerability management tools
- Support implementation of cybersecurity solutions and projects
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prepare evaluation reports
- Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security updates
- Support audits, incident response, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams on security operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in a technical security role
- Strong understanding of network security and incident handling
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CC, or SSCP are preferred
