Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a SIEM Engineer.
The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing, configuring, and optimizing SIEM rules, integrating various log sources, creating dashboards and alerts, and troubleshooting performance issues.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance threat detection, response, and mitigation capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar, ArcSight).
- Experience in log aggregation, normalization, correlation, and security rule creation.
- Knowledge of network security, incident response, and threat intelligence techniques.
- Strong understanding of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for workflow enhancements.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying and addressing security incidents.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CEH, or SIEM-specific certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in implementing SIEM solutions for mission-critical infrastructures is a plus.
