Secondary Science / Values Education Teache
r is responsible for teaching Science and Values Education subjects to junior or senior high school students in accordance with the Philippine K 12 curriculum and the standards of Qatar s Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The teacher develops students scientific understanding, critical thinking skills, ethical behavior, and personal values in a learner-centered and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science (depending on assignment)
- Teach Values Education subjects focusing on character formation, ethics, and personal development
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
- Conduct classroom instruction, laboratory activities, experiments, and values formation discussions
- Develop students scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Promote discipline, respect, responsibility, and positive behavior among students
- Assess and monitor student performance through quizzes, projects, laboratory work, and examinations
- Maintain a safe and well-managed classroom and laboratory environment
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into instruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Secondary Education major in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
- Additional background or training in Values Education, Character Education, or related field is an advantage
• Valid PRC Professional Teacher License
- Preferably with teaching experience in secondary education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural educational environment
- Full-fledged Master s Degree holder in Education
- At least two (2) years of experience as a classroom teacher
- 45 years old and below
- With less than 40 hours of absences
