Role Description
This full-time, on-site Search Engine Optimization Specialist role is based in Dubai.
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions for Act Local’s digital properties.
Daily responsibilities include conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, and developing ethical link-building initiatives.
The role also involves monitoring performance through web analytics tools, preparing regular reports, and collaborating with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
The specialist will stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends to continuously refine strategies and ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Keyword Research skills, including intent analysis and search volume evaluation.
- Candidates should possess SEO Audits skills, covering technical, content, and structural website reviews.
- Candidates should possess Link Building skills, focusing on ethical, high-quality backlink acquisition and outreach.
- Candidates should possess Web Analytics skills, including experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and reporting dashboards.
- Candidates should possess On-Page SEO skills, including optimizing meta tags, headings, internal links, and content structure.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an SEO or digital marketing role, ideally within agency or multi-client environments, is an advantage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO.
- Strong understanding of on page, off page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Knowledge of WordPress and basic HTML/CSS is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
