I am currently partnered with a leading technology solutions provider who is seeking an experienced SDDC Pre-Sales Specialist to support enterprise clients across complex infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
This role will work closely with sales teams and customers to design, position, and deliver end-to-end solutions across data centre, cloud, and virtualisation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to shape and deliver end-to-end technical solutions aligned to business needs
- Lead the design and positioning of SDDC and infrastructure solutions based on detailed client requirements
- Support revenue growth by contributing to sales strategy, pipeline development, and forecasting activities
- Prepare and present high-quality solution demonstrations, technical pitches, and client proposals
- Develop pricing structures, cost models, and commercial documentation for proposed solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on optimal approaches while resolving technical challenges
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery, architecture, finance, and legal teams to ensure viable and competitive solutions
- Assist in contract discussions, scope definition, and preparation of statements of work and supporting documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Coach and support sales teams to enhance technical knowledge and improve overall solution selling capabilities
Requirements
- Degree in IT or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within enterprise IT environments
- Strong track record supporting large, strategic B2B customers
- Deep technical knowledge across infrastructure, virtualisation, and cloud platforms
- Experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions and responding to RFPs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience across leading enterprise technologies and vendors within virtualisation, storage, compute, cloud platforms, and data protection solutions.
