The role is a fixed-term full-time position covering Terms 1 and 2 of 2027.
The successful educator will inspire students to question, investigate, and understand the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science learning experiences that inspire curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking.
- Develop students’ scientific knowledge, practical skills, and confidence through purposeful learning experiences.
- Plan and deliver differentiated learning for students with varied abilities, interests, and learning needs.
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and ongoing improvement of Science learning across the College.
Candidate requirements
- Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration, with relevant Science teaching experience.
- Have strong Science knowledge and make complex concepts accessible, relevant, and engaging for students.
- Demonstrate a passion for inquiry-based learning, investigation, experimentation, and critical thinking.
- Bring a collaborative and positive approach with commitment to Catholic education and the school’s stated values.
