Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site School Bus Driver role located in Dubai.
The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and related activities, following assigned routes and schedules.
Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean and orderly bus interior, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
The driver will assist students with boarding and exiting the bus when needed, ensure that behavior and safety rules are followed, and report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly.
The role also involves maintaining clear communication with supervisors, school staff, and, when appropriate, parents or guardians to support a safe and positive transportation experience.
Qualifications
- Strong vehicle operation skills, and safe handling of vehicles suitable for school transportation.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with students, school staff, and company representatives.
- Clean driving record and demonstrated adherence to traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow established routes and schedules, manage time effectively, and respond calmly in unexpected situations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety checks and ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
- Previous experience as a school bus driver or commercial driver is preferred; familiarity with Dubai roads and traffic rules is an advantage.
