School Age Group Leader

At the Old Colony YMCA, we're looking for a Group Leader who is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where school-age children can learn, play, and grow. Every day is different from leading games and crafts to supporting homework, outdoor play, and exciting field trips.

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for children.

Lead fun activities including games, arts & crafts, STEM projects, sports, and outdoor play.

Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate programming.

Supervise children during daily activities, field trips, and special events.

Encourage positive behavior and model the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility .

Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Maintain a clean, organized program space.

Complete attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation.

Work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator and fellow staff members.

Attend staff meetings and required professional development trainings.

Enthusiastic, dependable, and positive team players.

Passion for working with school-age children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment.

Commitment to child safety and following YMCA policies and state licensing regulations.
