Pay
- Pay is $16.00 per hour.
Schedule
- The schedule follows the school calendar.
- Morning program hours are 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
- Afternoon program hours are 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Opportunities are available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position for the 2026–2027 school year.
Role Overview
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Assistants for its Before and After School Programs.
The program serves children ages 5–12 in a safe, structured, and engaging environment.
Employer-paid childcare is available for eligible school-age children during the employee's working hours.
Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate fitness, STEAM, academic, art, homework, and other group activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
- Follow state guidelines, company policies, and host school policies.
- Some positions may handle attendance records, registration, and staffing functions.
Education and Qualifications
- A high school diploma and/or one year of childcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
- The role requires bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.
- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, interpersonal skills, reliability, and punctuality.
