Qualifications
- About You
- Degree qualified in Mining Engineering.
- Experience in underground hard rock mining environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining mine schedules.
- Exposure to short and medium-term planning activities.
- Strong understanding of underground mining operations.
- Experience using Deswik or similar mine planning software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across operational teams.
- Australian underground mining experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly and rolling three-month production schedules.
- Coordinate development, production and infrastructure activities.
- Monitor actual performance against schedule and identify improvement opportunities
- Update schedules based on operational performance and changing mine conditions.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure practical and achievable schedules.
- Prepare short and medium-term forecasts to support planning and decision making.
- Track schedule compliance and highlight key risks, delays and opportunities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through accurate scheduling.
- Assist with resource allocation and activity sequencing.
- Participate in daily, weekly and monthly planning meetings.
- Coordinate with Mining, Maintenance and Technical Services teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance schedule reliability and productivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Australian underground mining experience preferred.
