Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site SAP Specialist role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The SAP Specialist will configure, support, and optimize SAP modules, with a focus on finance, controlling, and master data to align with business processes in the automotive spare parts trading environment.
Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements from finance, operations, and supply chain teams, designing and implementing SAP solutions, maintaining master data accuracy, and troubleshooting system issues.
The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to map and improve end-to-end business processes, preparing documentation, and providing user training and support.
The SAP Specialist will also participate in system upgrades, testing, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong business process understanding, with the ability to map, analyze, and improve end-to-end workflows in trading, distribution, finance, and inventory environments.
- Proficiency in SAP FICO, including configuration, integration with related modules, and support for financial closing, reporting, and controlling activities.
- Solid master data management skills, ensuring accurate setup, governance, and maintenance of key data objects across SAP modules.
- Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, including data analysis, root-cause investigation, and development of practical system-based solutions.
- Experience in consulting or internal SAP advisory roles, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrades; familiarity with the automotive or spare parts industry is an advantage.
