SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to design, configure, and support end-to-end Sales and Distribution processes within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles, pricing, billing, and logistics execution, along with hands-on experience in SAP SD implementations and support projects. This role is critical in ensuring efficient sales operations, accurate billing processes, and seamless integration across SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP SD processes including sales order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management
- Design and maintain end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes aligned with business requirements
- Set up and manage pricing procedures, condition techniques, and output determination
- Support delivery processing including availability check, shipping, and logistics execution
- Integrate SAP SD with MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and LE (Logistics Execution) modules
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sales, billing, and delivery processes
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across sales and distribution processes
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
- Identify process improvements and recommend SAP best practices for sales operations
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation and support
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and sales lifecycle management
- Expertise in pricing procedures, condition techniques, and billing configurations
- Proven experience integrating SAP SD with MM, FI, and LE modules
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sales (e.g., C_TS462_202x)
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps for sales and distribution processes
- Knowledge of advanced credit management (FSCM Credit Management)
- Familiarity with EDI, IDoc processing, and external system integrations
- Experience in revenue recognition and billing innovations in S/4HANA
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies
- Understanding of SAP authorization concepts and role-based security
