Job Title: SAP FI Consultant / SAP Financial Accounting Specialist
📌 Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
SAP FI Consultant
to manage and support financial accounting processes within SAP.
The role involves
configuration, troubleshooting, financial closing activities, and integration with other SAP modules
, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and accurate financial reporting.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Closing & Accounting Support
- Support
- month-end and year-end closing activities
- Perform:
- Pre-close validations
- Account reconciliations
- Balance carry-forward processing
- Ensure timely and accurate financial close cycles
2. SAP FI Configuration & Support
- Configure and support key SAP FI modules:
• Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to FI processes
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Maintain and update
- tax configurations
- Ensure compliance with:
- VAT regulations
- Local statutory requirements
- Support finance teams in regulatory reporting
4. Integration & Interfaces
- Support integration with:
- **CO (Controlling)**
- **MM (Materials Management)**
- Third-party financial systems
- Ensure seamless data flow between modules
5. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
- Generate and validate financial reports
- Perform reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate and correct posting errors
6. Banking & Payments
- Configure and maintain:
- House banks
- Payment programs (automatic payments)
- Troubleshoot payment and bank integration issues
7. Audit & Compliance Support
- Support internal and external audits
- Provide:
- Required financial data
- System configuration details
- Ensure adherence to financial and audit controls
- 🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• SAP FI Certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in
- SAP FI consulting/support roles
- 🧠 Required Skills
Technical Skills
- SAP FI Configuration (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting)
• Financial Closing Processes
- Tax Configuration (VAT / statutory compliance)
• Payment Program Configuration
- Integration with CO & MM modules
