Job title: SAP Finance Consultant
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience description
This role is for a hands-on SAP Finance (FI) professional with solid experience across core financial modules including:
- General Ledger (GL),
- Accounts Payable (AP),
- Accounts Receivable (AR).
Required
- Education: Project Management or Consulting or Finance in Project Management
- 6-7 years of experience within SAP, with a strong focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO)
- SAP S/4HANA project experience
- Proven consulting experience, ideally within a professional services or client-facing environment
- Strong understanding of finance processes with exposure to procurement processes as an advantage
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to automation initiatives within finance or ERP landscapes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to create and deliver high-quality presentations and client deliverables
- Demonstrated ownership, proactivity and strong work ethic
- Prior exposure to large-scale transformation programs
Roles and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP Finance implementations and enhancements across client engagements
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Deliver high-quality client-facing outputs including presentations, workshops, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and other business functions where relevant
- Contribute to Agile project environments, supporting iterative delivery and continuous improvement
- Identify and support automation opportunities within finance processes
- Ensure timely and high-standard delivery across project milestones
The role requires a strong consulting mindset, combining functional expertise in SAP Finance with the ability to operate effectively in client-facing environments.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high energy, ownership, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs across projects.
