SAP FICO+Treasury Lead

Role Overview
The SAP FICO Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to optimize financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP FICO modules (FI & CO)
- Gather and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders
- Design and configure SAP solutions including:
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Internal Orders and Product Costing
- Manage integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts
- Provide expert guidance on financial processes and SAP best practices
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities in SAP
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP FICO consultants
- Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments (RICEFW objects)
- Prepare functional specifications and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in SAP FICO (12+ years typically for Lead role)
- Hands-on expertise in FI and CO configurations
- Good understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Experience in S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and other modules
- Experience in at least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Leadership and team management experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for Finance
- Familiarity with automation tools and reporting (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Exposure to FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- MBA / CA / CPA is a plus
