About the Role
IPS is executing an Asset Performance Management (APM) project and seeks an experienced SAP Integration Developer based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
The developer will support development of SAP outbound interfaces in a short-term, project-based engagement.
All deliverables will be subject to review and acceptance by the client.
Scope of Work
- Develop SAP objects, including RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, and custom ABAP developments.
- Perform configuration and development within SAP S/4HANA, SAP PO, and SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite).
- Develop outbound interfaces from SAP to external applications using SAP CPI.
- Collaborate with the customer SAP team to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and governance requirements.
- Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Develop, configure, integrate, and test SAP interfaces between the APM platform and the customer SAP environment.
Required Experience
- SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite).
- ABAP development.
- SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP PO / PI.
- RFC, BAPI, and IDoc development.
- REST APIs and SOAP web services.
- SAP PM integration.
- Enterprise Asset Management integrations.
- Experience in large-scale industrial or utility environments is highly desirable.
Interface Functional Areas
The scope includes approximately 6–7 interfaces covering Equipment, Functional Locations, Notifications, Work Orders, FRACAS, and Task Groups.
Working Arrangement
- The developer will be provided with a customer network ID and customer-issued laptop.
- Upon onboarding, the developer will work directly within the customer SAP environment and coordinate closely with the customer SAP organization.
- The developer will follow all customer security, development, and change management procedures.
- Integration between SAP PM and the APM platform will be performed subject to customer stakeholder approvals.
