Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP or Oracle ERP solutions; understand stakeholder processes, challenges, and system needs.
• Participate in ERP implementation, enhancement, migration, integration, and optimization projects; configure and customize relevant modules.
• Support functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and HR as applicable.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvements, and prepare functional specifications, system requirements, process flows, and solution documentation.
• Work with developers on technical solutions; design and review configurations, workflows, reports, interfaces, and business processes.
• Conduct system, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing; prepare scenarios, scripts, expected results, and defect reports.
• Investigate issues, coordinate troubleshooting, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Support data migration, validation, master-data management, system conversion, and integrations with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Support APIs, middleware, EDI, web services, reports, dashboards, workflows, and system enhancements where applicable.
• Monitor system reliability, data integrity, and process effectiveness; provide production support and manage changes, patches, upgrades, and releases.
• Prepare user manuals, technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documents; conduct training and walkthroughs.
• Support cloud transformation and digitalization; ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulations; communicate with project and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant, Oracle Consultant, ERP Consultant, or similar enterprise-systems professional.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation, configuration, support, optimization, business processes, and enterprise workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle enterprise applications and relevant functional modules.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or related platforms is an advantage.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional specifications; experience with configuration, customization, testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, middleware, interfaces, and enterprise integration concepts.
• Experience supporting data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, or similar methodologies and project or system-development tools.
• Strong documentation, technical writing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business users.
