SAP Consultant – ABAP (Fiori/UI5)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Duration: 36 Months (Extendable)
We are looking for a talented SAP ABAP Consultant with Fiori/UI5 expertise to design, develop, and enhance SAP applications for a leading organization in Qatar.
Role Overview
This role focuses on ABAP development combined with modern SAP UI technologies (Fiori/SAPUI5). You will work on building responsive, role-based applications and integrating front-end solutions with SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, and custom objects
- Design and build SAP Fiori applications (List Reports, Object Pages, Freestyle UI5 apps)
- Develop UI solutions using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
- Work with CDS views, OData services, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway
- Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, spaces & pages)
- Collaborate with authorization teams for role-based access (PFCG roles)
- Translate business requirements into UI/UX solutions
- Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization
- Support migration from SAP GUI to Fiori-based applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
- SAP Certification in Development Technologies (preferred)
Experience Required
- 5+ years of SAP development experience
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations as Fiori Developer
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments
- Oil & Gas industry experience (preferred)
Technical Skills
- ABAP (Reports, Enhancements, Function Modules, Debugging)
- SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 / HTML5 / JavaScript / CSS
- CDS Views, OData Services, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming)
- SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), Eclipse ADT
- SAP NetWeaver Gateway
- SAP BTP (Build Work Zone – advantage)

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: Up to QAR25,000.00 per month
