Overview
SAP BASIS Architect is required by our global client
Based on site working in Dubai, the successful candidate should have 15+ years of overall SAP BASIS experience including Solution Manager & Cloud ALM
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern enterprise architecture for S/4HANA (RISE PCE), SAP CAR, and SAP BTP platforms
- Architect and oversee integrations across S/4HANA, SAP CAR, BTP, and external applications
- Design and manage SLT-based real-time data replication between S/4HANA and CAR
- Administer SAP BTP including Cockpit, Subaccounts, Spaces, Entitlements, Subscriptions, and Service Instances
- Implement and manage SSO using IAS with OIDC integrated with Microsoft Entra ID
- Manage and govern BTP applications including Integration Suite (BTP IS), MBC, Ariba, AFC, SAC, Datasphere, and SAP Build
- Oversee Basis operations for S/4HANA RISE PCE in collaboration with SAP ECS, including provisioning, transports, system refreshes, and client copies
- Monitor and optimize system performance, job scheduling, and overall system health
- Coordinate patching, upgrades, and release cycles with SAP ECS
- Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) readiness
- Handle and resolve Syniti and large-volume data load performance issues, optimizing ETL and migration processes
- Lead Basis, Security, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) teams for operations, monitoring, and governance
- Drive transport management and release governance
- Establish monitoring, observability, performance tuning, and capacity planning frameworks
- Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and risk management across SAP landscape
- Establish high availability (HA) and business continuity strategies
- Ensure secure connectivity using Cloud Connector, VPN, and private link integrations
- Collaborate with SAP ECS team for infrastructure alignment, performance optimization, and cloud operations
- Essential experience MUST include
- 15 years SAP BASIS Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE, SAP BTP & hybrid landscapes.
- Strong track record in project delivery working for consultancy companies or SIS
- Demonstrable track record of longevity in prevous roles or retention on SAP assignments
