SAP Analyst

Role overview

Safety and compliance

• Adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Support audit requirements, access management standards, and IT General Controls.
• Assist with Segregation of Duties monitoring, mitigation, and access reviews.
• Follow security, change-coordination, and governance processes.
• Support audit evidence collection and remediation.

SAP security and access management

• Coordinate ongoing support for SAP security roles, profiles, and user access.
• Assist with user provisioning, access modifications, deprovisioning, and role assignments.
• Perform access analysis and support role design in line with security standards.
• Maintain security documentation, role matrices, and access governance procedures.
• Support periodic user access reviews, certification activities, and collaboration to maintain appropriate access controls.

SAP GRC and IAG administration

• Support administration and maintenance of SAP GRC and IAG solutions.
• Assist with access requests, approvals, provisioning workflows, and risk analysis.
• Perform SoD reviews and support remediation.
• Maintain risk documentation, mitigation controls, and compliance records.
• Test and validate governance and compliance controls and support SAP GRC and IAG integration and monitoring.

Governance and documentation

• Gather and analyze organizational and technical needs related to SAP Security and GRC processes.
• Maintain security procedures, standards, and operational documentation.
• Document and support IT Service Management processes related to SAP Security and GRC operations.
• Assist with process flows, work instructions, and compliance documentation.
• Support reporting on protection measures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Technology Management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in SAP Application Security and SAP GRC implementation or support.
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, authorization objects, role building, and user-permission management.
• Foundational knowledge of SAP governance, risk management, and compliance solutions.
• Ability to interpret and detail business and technical requirements; experience providing detailed SAP Security and GRC IT service procedures or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience collaborating with business users and technical teams on access management and compliance; ability to document processes, analyze requirements, and support governance initiatives.
• Experience supporting compliance, audit, and identity management strategic direction activities.
• SAP S/4HANA or SAP cloud experience is a positive attribute.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SAP identity access control solutions and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA security and authorization concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Understanding of SoD, ITGC, compliance frameworks, IAM, security testing, user access reviews, and audit support.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and experience in regulated industries.
• SAP Security or SAP GRC certifications are an asset.

Location and work arrangement

• The role is hybrid in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Contract dates

• Estimated start date: November 2026.
• Estimated end date: November 2027.

Rate

• Rate is negotiable and based on experience and competitiveness; no compensation amount or cadence is stated.
