SAP ABAP & Fiori/UI5 Developer
About This Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP & Fiori/UI5 Developer with strong experience in developing and enhancing SAP applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP solutions, including custom ABAP developments, SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, and OData services, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications based on business requirements.
- Build and maintain OData services via SAP Gateway for seamless front-end and back-end integration.
- Customize and optimize existing SAP applications to improve usability and performance.
ABAP Development
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Work on BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and Function Modules.
- Design and implement CDS Views for advanced data modelling and analytics.
- Perform performance tuning and debugging of SAP programs.
System Integration & Support
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support SAP system integration with internal and external applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments.
Quality & Documentation
- Ensure development aligns with SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and test cases.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and post-go-live support.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proven experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.
- Hands-on experience with OData Gateway services.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- ABAP (Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, CDS Views)
- SAP Fiori & SAP UI5
- OData Services & SAP Gateway
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environment is highly preferred.
Certifications (Preferred/Required)
- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver or SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer
