Â

• Ha s  knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their use, safety precautions, proper cleaning techniques, methods, and procedures. Â
• Prepare s  and/or mix es  cleaning and sanitizing chemicals Â
• Use s  foaming equipment to apply cleaning chemicals to equipment Â
• Scrub s  equipment using scrub brushes and/or pads to clean, sanitize, and polish equipment using dilute d  cleaning chemicals Â
• Maintain s  good housekeeping in his/her assigned area: Sweep s  with a broom and/or squeegee, shovel, scrub s  using scrub brushes and/ or pads and  scrapers,  and rinse s  equipment with high pressure water and/or air hoses Â
• Change s  grader shaker screens in packaging rooms and in prep area when  required  Â
• Wear required PPE. Â
• Performs other duties as assigned Â

Education/ Certifications: Â (Required & Preferred) Â

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Â
• Sanitation  certification is  required . If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements. Â

• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral) (Requirement may vary by location). Â
• Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being performed. Â
• Must be able to be qualified within  time frames  established  by  facility . Â
• Ability to perform basic math  functions,  required . Â
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Â

Physical Environment/Demands: Â

Â

• Ability to  lift up  to  50  pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently .  Â
• Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot  to  cold in temperature Â
• Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per  work day  to include :  loud  noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke,  smells  and allergies  Â
• Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements  required  for job actions and procedures .  Â
• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment .  Â
• Requires manual dexterity, overall  coordination  and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties .  Ability to  operate  work related equipment Â
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Â
• Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation Â
• May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products Â
• Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis Â
