Salon Receptionist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet clients professionally.
• Manage appointments, bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Respond to phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain client records and appointment schedules.
• Handle payments, billing, and daily cash transactions.
• Promote services, packages, memberships, and retail products.
• Coordinate with hairstylists, beauty therapists, and other salon staff.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare daily sales reports and assist with administrative tasks.
• Follow up about appointments and customer satisfaction.
• Provide excellent service and a positive salon experience.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and POS systems.
• Strong organization, multitasking, customer service, and sales skills.
• Professional appearance and a pleasant personality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy salon and flexibility with working hours.

Preferred experience and knowledge

• Previous salon receptionist or front desk coordinator experience is preferred.
• Beauty or hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
• Salon booking system knowledge, especially Fresha, is an advantage.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 3,000–3,500 per month, based on experience.
• Employment visa and medical insurance are provided as per UAE Labour Law.
