Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Salesperson at KusumDhara Ventures.

The Salesperson will identify and qualify new business opportunities in wholesale import and export markets, including quartz and minerals, and other product categories.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms that align with company standards.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery, tracking market trends, and providing regular sales reports and forecasts.

The Salesperson will also represent the company in virtual meetings, contribute to strategic sales initiatives, and uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in B2B sales, account management, and lead generation, preferably within wholesale import and export or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust-based, long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in market research, opportunity analysis, and pipeline management using CRM or similar tools.
  • Understanding of international trade practices, basic logistics concepts, and documentation involved in cross-border transactions.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with strong time management, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to support efficient order fulfillment.
  • Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software); experience with online communication platforms.
  • Prior experience in minerals, natural stones, or related sectors is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
