About the Role
A salesman carries out daily pickups and deliveries of boxes on the ground, collects invoices and payments, and ensures every box and amount is accounted for at the end of the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect boxes from customers and deliver boxes to customers as per the daily route list.
- Handle boxes with care and confirm the count and condition at pickup and delivery.
- Follow the planned route and update the supervisor on any delay or issue.
- Issue the invoice for each pickup or delivery.
- Collect payment as per the invoice (cash or card) and give the receipt.
- Take a clear proof photo of every delivery or pickup as required by the process.
- Return undelivered, rejected, or collected boxes to the warehouse on the same day.
- Hand over boxes to the warehouse team.
- Reconcile boxes so pickups, deliveries, and returns match the route list.
- Reconcile collections so cash and payments collected match the invoices.
- Submit the cash and reconciliation sheet to accounts or supervisor before leaving.
- Report any shortage, damage, or difference immediately.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum secondary school education.
- 1+ year of experience in courier, delivery, or sales preferred.
- Able to lift and carry boxes.
- Basic use of a delivery or invoice app.
- Languages: Tagalog and English.
- Honest and careful with cash and customer goods.
- Polite and professional with customers.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Basic maths and record keeping.
- Able to work under time pressure.
