Salesforce Technical Architect

Role overview

What you'll do

• Design and own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud, and industry-specific clouds.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with business stakeholders and functional leads.
• Design integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven approaches.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and performance.
• Guide development teams through design reviews, best practices, and code quality oversight.
• Define API standards and data models, including canonical models.
• Support pre-sales solutioning, effort estimation, and architecture advice.
• Maintain technical documentation such as ERDs, sequence diagrams, data mappings, and architecture blueprints.
• Present technical design rationale, drive decisions, validate architecture hands-on, and maintain Architecture Decision Records.
• Design data migration strategies across Salesforce clouds and validate accuracy and completeness.
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code to accelerate delivery while validating and safely rolling out changes.

Experience and qualifications

• Have 8+ years of client-facing consulting experience focused on Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• Have 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft; Marketing Cloud is good to have.
• Be fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah.
• Have experience on cross-functional teams delivering secure, scalable solutions.
• Have strong system documentation skills, including ERDs, process flows, and sequence diagrams.
• Have proven experience designing scalable integrations with external systems.
• Hold Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce certifications, plus one or more Salesforce Architect domain certifications.
• Have agile experience, including estimation and planning across multidisciplinary teams.

Additional useful experience

• Kafka or Confluent event streaming, including consumer groups, Schema Registry, and Avro or JSON serialization, is a plus.
• Data transformation and mapping from nested JSON or EDIFACT into canonical relational models is a plus.
• Experience with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud is a plus.
• Previous delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC is a plus.
