Salesforce Developer
Role Overview
Our systems technology team is seeking a motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer to support and enhance our Salesforce platform and its connected systems and integrations.
The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting Salesforce and the surrounding business systems and processes.
We are a highly collaborative, agile team with a mix of product delivery managers, architects, admins, developers, and support staff demanding high levels of engagement from all team members.
As part of the Salesforce technical team, your mission will be to own the solutions you and the team build throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
This includes supporting existing functionality as well as innovating new features.
Your Salesforce platform knowledge and ability to stay current with every release will be key to making yourself and the team a relevant and critical part of achieving Forrester’s goals.

Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are preferred.
- Experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Experience with and proficiency in middleware, SOAP- and REST-based web services, XML, JavaScript, and service-oriented architecture design principles.
- Solid data design experience including extract, transform, load; synchronous and asynchronous messaging; and integration strategies between loosely coupled systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment process tooling like Gearset or Copado.
- Experience working within complex or highly customized Salesforce environments.
