Salesforce Developer – Agentforce & Claude AI

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Build Salesforce solutions with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and APIs; configure Agentforce agents, topics, actions, prompts, and workflows.
• Develop AI-powered Salesforce experiences and integrate Claude/Anthropic capabilities for conversational AI, content generation, summarization, classification, and automation.
• Create custom Agentforce actions and integrations using Apex, Flow, APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, OAuth, external services, and middleware.
• Use Salesforce Data Cloud to provide trusted context to agents; create reusable prompts and contextual AI workflows.
• Apply security, sharing, permissions, data access, and governance controls; develop maintainable code and optimize performance and scalability.
• Write unit tests, take part in code reviews and release activities, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across product, business, architecture, data, and development teams.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and developments in Agentforce, Data Cloud, generative AI, and the Salesforce AI ecosystem.

Required skills and experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce Developer experience.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce security and sharing, and deployment and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on Salesforce Agentforce implementation, including agents, topics, instructions, actions, prompt templates, Apex/Flow actions, and AI-driven automation.
• Experience with Claude/Anthropic or Claude-based enterprise AI, including API integration, prompt engineering, or orchestration.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, grounding, context management, and AI agent architecture.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications and AI platforms; understanding of Salesforce data architecture and data security.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, and deployment tools; strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, AI Associate, Data Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder certifications are preferred.
• Salesforce Data Cloud and AI grounding, Anthropic Claude or other enterprise LLM APIs, and middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi are preferred.
• JavaScript/TypeScript, responsible AI, data privacy, AI security and governance, and Agile/Scrum experience are preferred.
