About the role
Senior frontend engineering role focused on building frontend experiences integrated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C.

The senior engineer leads frontend project work, helps shape client solutions, and contributes to architecture and team practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SFRA cartridges and ISML templates within SFCC B2C.
- Integrate REST, OCAPI, and SCAPI endpoints to connect SFCC with frontend applications.
- Build responsive, accessible, compliant, and performant storefront interfaces using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, SCSS, and Handlebars.
- Configure Page Designer components and multi-site and multi-locale setups.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers on reusable, maintainable components.
- Review code, write unit and integration tests, and uphold engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot performance, security, and integration issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend architecture.
- Stay current with SFCC and frontend technologies.
- Refine tasks, prioritize work, manage technical debt, and audit projects when needed.
Required skills and experience
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 1 year integrating with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C.
- Proficiency in SFRA and ISML; hands-on experience with cartridge structure and Page Designer.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript, React, Tailwind, SCSS, and Handlebars.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, including OCAPI and SCAPI, for headless and hybrid implementations.
- Experience with Node tooling, build processes, server-side rendering where applicable, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of web metrics, security, SEO, and WCAG AA accessibility.
- Testing experience with Jest, Playwright, Vitest, or Cypress; experience with AI-assisted tooling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Headless or hybrid CMS integration experience is useful; Magnolia is an example, but general CMS integration experience is suitable.
- Experience with personalization or A/B testing tools integrated with SFCC is preferred.
- Prior experience leading a small engineering team or owning architecture decisions is preferred.
- Experience contributing to frontend build and deployment tooling in CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
