Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End PWA Developer

Position summary

Primary responsibilities

• Build and maintain PWA storefront features for product detail, product listing, cart, and checkout using the Retail React App template.
• Monitor SonarQube reports and make architectural fixes to improve code quality.
• Implement SCAPI/OCAPI integrations and data mapping between SFCC and React.
• Deploy bundle versions and configure environments in Salesforce Managed Runtime; implement shopper authentication with SLAS.
• Turn high-fidelity designs into responsive, accessible React components and troubleshoot production issues using platform logs and browser tools.
• Work with Product, UX/UI, Backend, business, technology, and SI partner teams; participate in scrums and deliver requirements.
• Provide guidance to outsourced vendor resources; maintain the environment to limit budget overruns.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of headless storefront implementation experience; full-cycle SFCC Composable Storefront/PWA Kit experience is preferred.
• Expert React knowledge, including Hooks, Context API, SSR, and state management; mastery of SCAPI and OCAPI.
• Experience resolving security vulnerabilities, code smells, and maintainability issues reported by code-quality platforms.
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, and Chakra UI or a similar CSS-in-JS library.
• Experience integrating OMS, payment gateways via SLAS, and third-party services in a decoupled environment.
