Role overview

Development and integrations

• Build and maintain headless PWA storefront features for product detail, product listing, cart, and checkout using the Retail React App template.
• Implement and extend SCAPI and OCAPI integrations and map data between SFCC and React.
• Deploy and manage bundles and environment configurations in Salesforce Managed Runtime.
• Implement shopper authentication using SLAS.

Quality and delivery

• Monitor SonarQube findings and implement codebase and architectural improvements to meet quality gates.
• Translate high-fidelity designs into responsive, accessible, performant React components.
• Troubleshoot production issues using SFCC Log Center, Managed Runtime logs, and browser debugging tools.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend teams and participate in scrums with systems integration partners.

Decision-making and collaboration

• Provide leadership and guidance to outsourced vendor resources.
• Maintain the environment to minimize budget overflows and recommend technology investments and improvements.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.

Experience and qualifications

• Five or more years of software engineering experience.
• Two or more headless storefront implementations; full-cycle SFCC Composable Storefront or PWA Kit experience is preferred.
• Expert-level React skills, including Hooks, Context API, server-side rendering, and state management.
• Mastery of SFCC concepts, including SCAPI and OCAPI.
• Experience resolving code quality findings, vulnerabilities, code smells, and maintainability debt.
• Experience with OMS, payment gateway, and third-party service integrations in a decoupled environment.

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PWA Kit / Composable Storefront, React, SCAPI, and OCAPI.
• Salesforce Managed Runtime and SLAS.
• Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, and Chakra UI or a similar CSS-in-JS library.
• SonarQube and Figma.
