Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End PWA Developer

Position summary

Development and integrations

• Build and maintain PWA storefront features for product detail pages, product listing pages, cart, and checkout using the Retail React App template.
• Improve code quality by reviewing SonarQube reports and implementing architectural fixes.
• Implement and extend SCAPI/OCAPI integrations and map data between SFCC and React.
• Deploy and manage bundles and environment configurations in Salesforce Managed Runtime.
• Implement secure shopper authentication with SLAS.
• Integrate OMS, payment gateways, and third-party services in a decoupled environment.

Delivery and collaboration

• Convert high-fidelity designs into responsive, accessible, performant React components.
• Partner with product, UX/UI, and backend teams on end-to-end user journeys.
• Troubleshoot production issues using SFCC Log Center, Managed Runtime logs, and browser debugging tools.
• Participate in scrums and coordinate with system-integrator partners to deliver business requirements.
• Provide guidance to outsourced vendor resources and maintain the environment to minimize budget overruns.
• Contribute to technology decisions and recommendations on product development and prioritization.

Experience and technical qualifications

• Five or more years of software engineering experience.
• At least two headless storefront implementations; full-cycle SFCC Composable Storefront/PWA Kit implementation experience is preferred.
• Expert React knowledge, including Hooks, Context API, server-side rendering, and state management.
• Strong SFCC knowledge, including SCAPI and OCAPI.
• Experience resolving security vulnerabilities, code smells, and maintainability issues reported by code-quality tools.
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, and Chakra UI or a similar CSS-in-JS library.
• Experience integrating OMS, payment gateways via SLAS, and third-party services in decoupled environments.

Travel and work environment

• Work is in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; domestic and international travel may be required.
