Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End PWA Developer

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Build PWA storefront features for product pages, cart, and checkout using the Retail React App template.
• Improve code quality using SonarQube reports and architectural fixes.
• Build SCAPI/OCAPI integrations and data mapping between SFCC and React.
• Manage deployments and environments in Salesforce Managed Runtime.
• Implement shopper authentication with SLAS.
• Build responsive, accessible React components from Figma designs.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Backend, and systems integration partners.
• Investigate production issues using SFCC and MRT logs and browser tools.
• Guide outsourced vendor resources and manage the environment to limit budget overruns.
• Participate in scrums and deliver business requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ headless storefront implementations; full-cycle SFCC Composable Storefront/PWA Kit experience is preferred.
• Expert React knowledge, including Hooks, Context API, SSR, and state management.
• Mastery of SCAPI and OCAPI.
• Experience resolving code-quality issues, including vulnerabilities, code smells, and maintainability debt.
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, ES6+, and Chakra UI or a similar CSS-in-JS library.
• Experience integrating OMS, payment gateways via SLAS, and third-party services in decoupled environments.

Work environment

• Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; domestic and international travel may be required.
