Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture across Salesforce orgs and lead acquired-company CRM consolidation, including decisions on unified versus federated data.
• Drive enterprise Salesforce programs, define architecture, plan large-project delivery, and oversee solution design and implementation.
• Lead user experience and platform-adoption strategy; advise and mentor teams on technical and functional delivery.
• Lead cross-team system design, evaluate alternatives and trade-offs, and guide architecture, integrations, environment management, and testing.
• Establish Salesforce design patterns for packages, configuration, low-code, custom development, and native or AppExchange offerings.
• Promote engineering practices and design documentation across orgs and ensure integration with Lyft infrastructure.
• Lead acquired CRM/GTM migrations, deduplication, identity resolution, object and picklist harmonization, and legacy-org decommissioning.
• Maintain multi-org data architecture, cross-org reporting, reference data, and territory and hierarchy design.
• Own integration architecture for middleware and the GTM stack; partner on data residency, retention, and subject-rights requirements.

Required experience

• At least 8 years building enterprise Salesforce solutions, including hands-on SOAP, REST, Bulk, Pub/Sub, Tooling, and Metadata API experience.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect and Salesforce Certified System Architect certifications.
• Multi-org Salesforce architecture experience, including at least one consolidation, migration, or merge.
• Strong integration experience with Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, or comparable middleware.
• Data management experience with SQL/RDBMS, structured and unstructured stores, large-scale migration, and matching or deduplication.
• Salesforce CI/CD experience with Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or similar, and experience transitioning Salesforce processes into agentic AI solutions.

Preferred experience

• Salesforce Data 360 experience for customer data unification or federation across orgs or acquired entities, including zero-copy federation, canonical-model harmonization, or identity resolution.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification and M&A carve-out or post-merger integration experience in GTM/commercial systems are preferred.
• Multi-country implementation experience with differing data-protection requirements and familiarity with Tableau, Agentforce, or GenAI/agentic platform tooling are preferred.

Workplace

• This is a hybrid role requiring at least three office days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Compensation

• The expected base salary in the Toronto area is CAD $129,000 to CAD $161,250 per year, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
