Key responsibilities
- Define the Education Cloud solution architecture, roadmap, and technical standards.
- Design scalable EDA-aligned models for students, applicants, programmes, courses, terms, and affiliations.
- Lead architecture for Admissions, Student Success Hub, Advisor Link, Experience Cloud portals, and related Education Cloud modules.
- Architect SIS, LMS, ERP, finance, and identity integrations using MuleSoft or other API-led approaches.
- Lead discovery and design workshops; translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
- Establish security, sharing, DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, environment, and release governance.
- Mentor developers, consultants, and administrators and conduct design and code reviews.
- Evaluate Data Cloud, Agentforce/AI, Marketing Cloud, and Tableau for client needs.
- Address performance, scalability, privacy, compliance, and UAE data protection and residency expectations.
- Support presales, estimation, proposals, and technical risk assessments when required.
Required skills and experience
- 12+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years on Salesforce, and proven architect-role experience.
- Delivery experience on at least 2–3 full-lifecycle Salesforce Education Cloud projects; higher education experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EDA, the Education Cloud data model, and student lifecycle processes.
- Expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Strong experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, platform events, and Salesforce security.
- Integration architecture experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience with large data volumes, migration, data quality, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, and release management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Certifications and candidate location
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect certification is required.
- CTA, Integration Architecture Designer, Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Designer, and Education Cloud Consultant certifications are preferred.
- Candidates must currently be based in India and willing to relocate to the UAE; relocation support is stated.
