The Sales Trader is responsible for providing market-leading execution and support services to a dedicated portfolio of Elite clients within the 24x5 Sales Trading desk.
The role focuses on execution broking, providing timely market color, resolving complex platform queries, and executing proactive outreach to increase wallet share and reduce client churn.
Trade Execution & Client Support
- Provide a high level of support to assigned Elite clients (maintaining a ratio of approximately 1:50 to 1:75) relating to their trading accounts with ADSS.
- Support client trading and take phone orders as per their instructions (Execution Broking) accurately and efficiently.
- Answer client questions and queries via email and phone, ensuring follow-up from initial contact through to resolution.
- Investigate and resolve questions or issues with any of the trading platforms available to ADSS clients (MT4, Orex, MAM, Multi-Terminal), from guidance on usage to technical troubleshooting.
Market Insights & Proactive Outreach
- Provide insights on markets and market information to ensure clients have access to up-to-date, actionable insights.
- Conduct incoming and outgoing market update calls, discussing active FX and CFD trends to stimulate trading activity.
- Execute proactive outreach and tailored pricing discussions as part of periodic wallet-share reviews to increase client trading volume.
- Participate in client account reactivation initiatives, working alongside Relationship Managers to re-engage dormant Elite accounts.
Operational Excellence & Investigation
- Investigate and resolve client complaints at the first level, with appropriate escalation to other departments or management.
- Conduct trade investigations for retail and corporate clients, coordinating with the Front Office and Platform Support teams.
- Manage operational tasks including overnight credit monitoring, swap-free monitoring, and follow-ups for negative equity accounts and expiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all customer interactions within the Salesforce CRM system.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain a consistent track record of excellent client service delivery and operational performance in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal risk policies during all execution activities.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with the role, managing and escalating issues to senior management as needed.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in financial services, with a minimum of 3 years as a Sales Trader or Market Analyst.
- Proven experience managing high-value client accounts and supporting execution broking activities.
Skills
- Detailed knowledge of the foreign exchange market, CFDs, trading platforms, and competitor offerings.
- Strong execution skills with high attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear market insights to sophisticated traders.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; Arabic is preferred and additional languages are an advantage.
