Elektro Marine Group supports ship owners and managers with a high inventory of spare parts and expertise across critical systems such as boiler controls, breakers and switchgear, crane controls, fire alarms, engine control and alarm systems, navigation and communication, power distribution, ODME, sensors, instrumentation, and tank gauging. The company operates with dedicated service engineers located in UAE, Singapore, and Indian ports, offering system health checks and rapid troubleshooting. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Sales Specialist will identify and pursue new business opportunities with ship owners, managers, and maritime service providers, focusing on automation and electronic systems solutions.
Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing quotations and proposals, and following up on leads from internal teams and external inquiries.
The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding client technical needs, and coordinating with service engineers and inventory teams to provide suitable spare parts and retrofit solutions.
The Sales Specialist will also support product presentations and training for customers, gather market intelligence, contribute to sales forecasts, and ensure accurate reporting in the company’s CRM or sales systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse maritime clients and internal technical teams.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management capabilities, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to deliver Training and product demonstrations to customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Experience or strong interest in the maritime, marine electronics, or industrial automation sectors.
- Comfort working with technical documentation and translating technical concepts into clear commercial value for customers.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in quotations, contracts, and reporting.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM software; ability to maintain accurate digital records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to regional shipping markets are an advantage.
- Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
