Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Service Sales Engineer to join our MotorTech division.
This role focuses on both pre-sales and after-sales service solutions, including service agreements, repair, overhaul, rewinding, and technical support services for engines and alternators.
This is a field-oriented role suited for someone who enjoys being on-site, building strong client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving service growth across industrial and Oil & Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell service agreements and technical service solutions (no unit/equipment sales involved)
- Support both pre-sales and after-sales activities by understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable service solutions
- Identify and develop opportunities for repair, overhaul, rewinding, maintenance, and troubleshooting services
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and client meetings to assess operational needs and provide technical recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Oil & Gas, utilities, and industrial sectors
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close service deals
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project and service execution
- Provide technical clarification and support during proposal and execution stages
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in pre-sales, service sales, or after-sales support within industrial, power, or Oil & Gas sectors
- Strong understanding of engines, alternators, and rotating equipment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable service solutions
- Willingness to work extensively in the field and visit customer sites regularly
- Valid UAE driving license
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
