Description
Seeking a proactive and presentable Sales Promoter to support merchandising activities across retail outlets in the UAE while also contributing to product sales and customer engagement.
The role primarily focuses on merchandising execution, stock visibility, shelf management, and promotional displays, along with assisting customers and achieving sales targets.
Merchandising Responsibilities (80%)
- Ensure proper product placement and shelf arrangement as per company standards
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment with store teams
- Maintain product visibility, pricing tags, and promotional displays
- Conduct regular shelf checks to avoid out-of-stock situations
- Implement planograms and merchandising guidelines across assigned outlets
- Monitor product expiry dates and maintain FIFO standards
- Submit daily outlet visit reports, stock updates, and competitor activity reports
- Build and maintain good relationships with store supervisors and staff
Promotion Responsibilities (20%)
- Promote products to customers and explain product features and benefits
- Support achievement of monthly sales targets
- Assist in executing in-store promotions and sampling activities
- Gather customer feedback and market insights
- Encourage repeat purchases through positive customer interaction
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in merchandising or sales promotion within FMCG/Retail in the UAE
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of merchandising standards and retail operations
- Ability to travel across assigned outlets
- Physically fit to handle merchandising activities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with supermarkets, hypermarkets, or retail chains in the UAE
- Energetic, organized, and result-oriented
- Familiarity with FMCG products and retail merchandising practices
Work Location: In person
Pay: From AED3,200.00 per month
