2) Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Consultant – Communication Systems to support SolutionMall’s communication system business development in the United Arab Emirates.

This is a flexible cooperation-based role suitable for professionals with local market experience, customer resources, system integrator connections, or project development capability in the communication, IT, infrastructure, or low-voltage system sectors.

The role focuses on developing local customer opportunities, supporting early-stage project communication, assisting RFQ development, and helping SolutionMall expand communication system project access in the UAE market.

The ideal candidate should be able to support:

  • Customer development
  • Project opportunity follow-up
  • RFQ and quotation coordination
  • Communication system solution promotion
  • Local market feedback
  • Commercial coordination
  • Project advancement support

This is not a purely technical engineering role, nor is it limited to office-based sales. It is suitable for candidates who understand communication system projects and can support practical customer communication, opportunity identification, and business development.

3) Key Responsibilities

Customer Development in Communication Systems

Identify and develop potential customers related to:

  • System integrators
  • Contractors
  • Engineering companies
  • Telecom-related project stakeholders
  • Data center and IT infrastructure customers
  • Security and low-voltage system companies
  • Industrial and infrastructure project owners
  • Government, enterprise, and commercial project contacts

Build and maintain practical relationships with local customers, project-side contacts, consultants, contractors, and procurement stakeholders.

Support SolutionMall in expanding regional access to communication system projects and supply opportunities in the UAE.

Communication System Solution Promotion

Support customer communication for product and solution categories such as:

  • Fiber optic networks
  • Communication transmission systems
  • Structured cabling systems
  • Network switches and communication devices
  • Data center cabling and connectivity
  • CCTV transmission and security network systems
  • Industrial Ethernet and IoT communication systems
  • Testing tools, installation tools, and supporting accessories

Help customers understand how different products and subsystems can be combined into practical communication network solutions for commercial buildings, industrial sites, data centers, infrastructure projects, and public facilities.

Support early-stage requirement clarification and solution direction matching.

Opportunity Follow-Up & RFQ Development

Follow up with customers on project background, technical requirements, usage scenarios, procurement direction, and budget expectations.

Help convert early customer interest into active RFQs and practical project discussions.

Coordinate with SolutionMall teams to keep qualified communication system opportunities moving forward.

Assist in project verification, solution confirmation, and order-related follow-up where needed.

Quotation & Commercial Coordination

Support quotation progress, customer feedback collection, and next-step coordination.

Help identify which leads are active, qualified, and suitable for deeper engagement.

Coordinate basic product and solution communication between customers and SolutionMall teams.

Support communication with customers during quotation, technical discussion, commercial negotiation, and order-related stages.

Market Feedback & Channel Development

Share local market insights in the UAE, including:

  • Demand trends
  • Project opportunities
  • Customer preferences
  • Pricing sensitivity
  • Channel conditions
  • Competitor activity
  • Common technical requirements in communication system projects

Help SolutionMall strengthen its regional market understanding and cooperation strategy in the UAE.

4) Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Communication system sales
  • Telecom equipment or network products
  • Fiber optic communication products
  • Structured cabling systems
  • IT infrastructure or data center solutions
  • CCTV, security, or low-voltage systems
  • Industrial communication or IoT systems
  • System integration or engineering project sales
  • Practical understanding of one or more of the following:
  • Communication network project requirements
  • Fiber optic and cabling system applications
  • IT infrastructure or data center communication systems
  • Low-voltage and security communication networks
  • Contractor, consultant, or procurement workflows
  • Strong customer-facing communication ability
  • Ability to identify project opportunities and follow up with local customers
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, cooperation-oriented business development role
  • Working proficiency in English

Preferred

  • Existing customer resources in the UAE communication, IT, infrastructure, or system integration market
  • Experience working with system integrators, contractors, consultants, telecom-related companies, or project owners
  • Experience in RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, or project opportunity development
  • Familiarity with local procurement ecosystems in the UAE
  • Arabic language ability is a strong advantage
