Role Description
The Sales Manager role at Astromin Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in shipping and logistics, managing a portfolio of accounts, and building long-term relationships with clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, preparing and delivering sales presentations, developing tailored logistics solutions with internal operations teams, and negotiating contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines.
The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
The Sales Manager will maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high service standards, and represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into tailored logistics and shipping solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
- Solid organizational, time-management, and reporting skills, including the use of CRM tools and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with international shipping processes, documentation, permits, and industry regulations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect.
