Athen Marine is looking to expand its UAE sales team with an experienced professional in the marine lubricants sector.
Role Description
The Sales Executive – UAE will drive business growth by identifying new customers and managing existing accounts within the marine sector.
This full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and involves prospecting, generating enquiries, and negotiating contracts with ship owners, operators, and marine service providers.
The role includes conducting market research, tracking competitor activity, and aligning customer needs with Athen Marine’s lubricants and technical solutions.
The Sales Executive will collaborate with technical and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution, maintain strong client relationships, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Regular reporting, pipeline management, and participation in industry events and customer meetings are core day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proven sales, account management, and business development skills in the marine lubricants or related industries within UAE market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to perform market research, analyze sales data, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office, and digital channels to manage pipelines and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of marine lubricants, marine engineering, or related technical products is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; additional languages used in the regional maritime market are an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the UAE and region for client visits and industry events.
