Sales Executive - Printing Industry

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth objectives within the printing sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, advertising agencies, publishers, packaging companies, retail businesses, and other print buyers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable printing solutions, materials, finishes, and production methods.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, cost estimates, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate closely with production, prepress, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms to successfully close sales opportunities.
• Manage existing customer accounts, identify upselling opportunities, and ensure repeat business.
• Stay updated on printing technologies, substrates, finishing techniques, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the production cycle.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activities, maintain customer records, and generate sales reports.
• Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the commercial printing, packaging printing, digital printing, offset printing, signage, or related printing industry.
• Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, paper grades, finishing techniques, and production workflows.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage key customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.

• Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be highly preferred:
• Commercial Printing
• Digital Printing
• Offset Printing
• Packaging Printing

Experience

• Printing Industry sales: 3 years (Required)
